Queen Elizabeth Happy Birthday

I think that the Queen’s Birthday long weekend is a good time to talk about Queen Elisabeth. She is the longest serving british monarch. Her actual birthday is the 21 April. She was married in 1947 and crowned in 1953. She is 94 years old.

Over the years she has developed some strong style preferences. She likes a hat and she likes colour. She almost always wears skirts or dresses and often matches her coat or jacket to her skirt/dress.

She is a great advocate for wearing colour!

As someone who has been in the spotlight for decades we have a visual archive of her spanning decades so we can see how her colouring as has changed over time. When she was in her twenties she had medium brown hair and a bright blue eye. These days her hair has softened to white and her over all look is softer with less contrast.
